EHLE, DANIEL - Daniel Ehle, a veteran of the Civil war and one of Troy's best known and highly respected citizens, died Sunday forenoon at his home on East _______.   Death was due to asthma of the heart and came after a short illness.  Mr. Ehle was born Oct. 29, 1836, in Pennsylvania.  He came to Troy as a young man and worked for many years as an engineer.  For the past few years he has served as janitor of the People's B. & S. association.  He was twice married, his second marriage being to Mrs. Horace Gates ___ years ago.  He leaves a son, George Ehle who is a railroad man in Indianapolis.  He was a prominent Mason and was well informed in Masonry.  He served during the Civil war in Co. B, 111th O. V. I. and was a member of Coleman Post G. A. R.  The funeral was held at his late home Tuesday afternoon the members of Franklin lodge F. & A. M. attending in a body.  Rev. C. E. Sonneborn was in charge.  The Knights Templar quartet sang, and members of the Masonic lodge were pallbearers.  Interment at Riverside cemetery.
