June 2, 1910

DITULIO, DANATO - Danato Ditulio, serving a life sentence in the Ohio penitentiary for the murder of his former sweetheart, Miss Forest Floyd, of Covington, died in the hospital Tuesday after an illness of several months during which he was subject to severe attacks of epilepsy.  The crime was committed about three years ago.  The young Italian, while in the employ of the Panhandle and living near Covington, became acquainted with the young woman and they were often together.  She tired of him but he would not give her up.  After watching her for some time one day he came upon her in a lonely spot and stabbed her with a stiletto.  Recently he had petitioned for a pardon but death came before the petition was acted upon.
