KESSLER, D. A. - Fouts Corner--The funeral of D. A. Kessler was held at the Nashville church Sunday morning.  He was 71 years old and left a family of 10 children, five sons and five daughters, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.  It was one of the largest funerals held at the Nashville church for a long time, which betokens the love and esteem in which Mr. Kessler was held by all who knew him.  He had been a resident of this community nearly all his life, excepting the past seven winters, which he spent in Florida for his health.  He was a member of the Christian church at Nashville and also belonged to the Odd Fellows.  The floral tokens were the most beautiful I have ever seen as the casket was literally covered with flowers.  Rev. Enos Pemberton officiated and the interment was in the Nashville cemetery.
