GANTZ, CLYDE - Brandt--A sad event was the suicide of Clyde Gantz, on Wednesday afternoon.  Mr. Gantz was a young man of 24 with a wife and two little children.  He was born and reared in the vicinity of Brandt and was liked by everyone.  While his wife was visiting his sister, Mrs. Glenna Swank, Wednesday, he swallowed the fatal dose and when she returned, she found him lying dead on the kitchen floor.  She was completely prostrated by the shock.  Clyde was a strong, robust young man and his death was a great shock not only to the relatives but to a large circle of friends.  The sympathy of every one goes out to the young wife and her little ones in their dark hours of sorrow.  The funeral was held in the Methodist church on Friday, conducted by the Rev. Miranda of New Carlisle.  Burial was in Bethel cemetery.
