DIEKER, CLARA V. - Clara V. Dieker, "Ginny", 72, of New Carlisle, OH. died Monday, June 10, 1996 at 1:12 A.M. in her residence.  She was born January 6, 1924 in Fly, OH, the daughter of Herbert & Anna (Stewart) White.  Clara was a resident of New Carlisle since 1955.  Former employee of Scarff's Nursery and McGregor-Warner in New Carlisle.  Survived by three daughters, Phyllis Dieker, Mrs. Richard (Dee) Moyer, all of New Carlisle, OH, Mrs. Gary (Susan) Smith of Huber Heights; son, Joseph L. Dieker Jr. & wife Phyllis of Dayton; 8 grandchildren, Richard Jr., William, Robert, Tabitha, Matthew, Robyn, Bradley, Rebecca; 5 great-grandchildren, Joey, Reba, Cody, Jessica, Jordan; six sisters, June Evans, Martha Pryor, Mary Knowlton, all of New Matamoras, OH, Lois McCullough of St. Mary's, WV, Leah Beaver, Canton, OH, Carole Silke, Sebring, FL.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph L. Dieker Sr., December 3, 1985; three sisters, Ruth Hall, Dorothy Kemp, Betty Kelley.  The family wishes to express their appreciation for the care of Mercy Hospice.  Services will be held Friday, June 14, 1996 at 1:00 P.M. in the Trostel, Chapman & Christmas Funeral Home, New Carlisle, OH, with Rev. Kevin Boggs officiating.  Burial in New Carlisle Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday 5-8 P.M. in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
