‘TAPS” ANSWERED BY 25 VETERANS

During 1919 twenty-five veterans of the civil war, all members of the Piqua G. A. R. post answered the final call of taps.  The comrades who passed on and who are sadly missed by their surviving veterans are. William M. Whitman, Alexander Denman, Augustus Colins; W. B. Mitchel; S. Bablyon; R. O. Edwards; W. W. Turk; Daniel Aukt; John Scott; George Semas; J. B. McFarland and J. W. Patter.
