SCHAEFER, CAROLYN S. - Carolyn S. Schaefer, 52, formerly of New Carlisle, passed away Sunday, July 20, at her residence in Tipp City.  She was born February 7, 1951 in Delaware, the daughter of Lonnie & Delvenia (Fraker) Edmonds.  She was a 1970 graduate from Tecumseh High School and was a member of the National Honor Society.  She was a rural letter carrier for 16 years and was a member of OWL.  She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Fred Schaefer; a son, John Olds of Covington; a daughter, Jaimie and her husband Ted Kiefer of Piqua; two grandchildren, Troy & Lilly Kiefer; two brothers, Ronnie Edmonds of Tipp City, Robert & Valerie Edmonds of Enon; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Wesley Dent of Roswell, New Mexico, Sandra & Steve Heffner of Covington and other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Edmonds.  Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at the Trostel, Chapman & Christmas Funeral Home, New Carlisle.  Burial in New Carlisle Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home in lieu of flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to Miami County Hospice.
