BALL, ANNA THERESA - Requiem Mass was conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic church, Piqua, for Mrs. Anna Theresa Ball, 60, of 800 Fish street, Piqua, sister of Mrs. Robert Meyers of Troy.  Burial was in Forest Hill cemetery, there.  Mrs. Ball died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Piqua Memorial hospital.  She had been in failing health for three years and hospitalized several times during her illness.  Born in Miami county March 27, 1898, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Carol Johnson.  She attended St. Boniface school and had previously been employed as a winder at Superior Mills Division of B. V. D.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Women of the Moose in Piqua.  Surviving are her husband, John; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Supinger, Mrs. Robert Cooper, both of Piqua and Mrs. Irvin Black of Portland, Ind.; son, Raymond Ball of Haddenfield, N. J.; five sisters, Mrs. Meyers of Troy, Mrs. Clara Yantis of Dayton, Mrs. Marie Johnson, Mrs. Francis Cunningham and Mrs. Orville Gorman, all of Piqua; 13 grandchildren.  A son, Melvin, was killed in action while with the United States Army in Germany in 1945.
