ANDERS, VIRGINIA M. "GINNY" - age 68, of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 8, 1941 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late James J. & Muriel R. (Cook) Murphy. Ginny was employed at Fulmer's Grocery for over 30 years and was active in the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW Post #9582 and the AmVets Post #99. Ginny is survived by her husband of 50 years, Harry Niles Anders; 1 son, Harry Niles Anders, Jr. (Virginia) of VA, and 1 daughter, Vicki L. Roberts (Bill) of MD; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Anders, William Kyle Roberts & Alexis Suzanne Roberts; and her beloved dog, "Molly". Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, November 12, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the American Cancer Society in Ginny's memory.
