KOONS, VIRGINIA LEE - Virginia Lee Koons, 84, died. Ginny was born Nov. 12, 1925, in Medway, the daughter of Cletus and Clara (Cooper) Zeller. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, Harold "Miney" Koons; sister, Juanita Miller; brothers-in-law, Harry Miller and Floyd Harris. Ginny is survived by four sisters, Johan Harris of Foley, Ala., Pat Brombaugh of Brookville, Phyllis Bohse of West Milton and Pam Procter of New Carlisle; brother, Tom Zeller of Springfield; sister-in-law, Geneva Koons of Enon; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Janice Koons of Medway and Hal and Nancy of Magnolia Springs, Ala.; four grandchildren, Heather Penrod and Steve, Trey and Chad Koons, six great-grandchildren, Madisyn and Paiytyn Penrod, Drew, Zachary, James Everett and Carolina Elizabeth Koons and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held Nov. 19 in Littleton & Rue Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Disabled Veterans or the Medway Baptist Church.
