SCOTT, RICHARD KANE (DICK) - Richard Kane (Dick) Scott, 83, died Sept. 30, 2009 at his residence in Shlimar, Fla. He worked as a tool and die engineer with A. O. Smith in Tipp City and built and designed experimental motors until he retired in 1986. He was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Freedom Masonic Lodge of St. Louis, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard M. Scott and June Scott Bollan. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beth Scott; four children, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
