SUPINGER, JACK SR. - Houston - Jack Donald Supinger Sr., 78, of Houston, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at home. He was born May 16, 1931, in Miami County, to the late Harrison Alexander Stewart and Eva (Feidt) Mullinex-Supinger-Fullroth. Jack faithfully served as one of the Jehovah's Witnesses for 49 years. He retired from the Union City Body Co. in 1991. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Marion Supinger, William Supinger and Harrison "Jr." Supinger; and sisters, Marjorie Arnett and Elizabeth Hudson; his wife, Anne Shirley (Toon) Supinger; and daughter, Alice Anne Supinger. Jack will be missed by his son, Jack Supinger Jr. and daughter-in-law, Judy Supinger of Houston; grandchildren, Jack Supinger III, of Sacramento, Calif., Joel and Helayna Supinger of Piqua and Rachel Supinger of Houston; sisters, Velma Lear of Bradford, Mary Lou Applegate of Sidney; brother, Max Supinger of Covington, Joseph Supinger of Oakland, Calif., Thomas Supinger of Sidney and Robert Supinger of Covington; and many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3967 N. Washington Road, Covington, with Brother Allen Preuss officiating.
