EVERSMAN, FLORENCE M. - Piqua - Florence M. Eversman, 97, of 817 Washington Ave., Piqua, died at 12:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at the Brookdale Sterling House of Piqua. She was born May 9, 1912, in Covington to the late Harrison and Catherine (Roeker) Adams. She married Albert H. Eversman March 6, 1942, in Piqua; he preceded her in death April 20, 1990. Survivors include a brother, Herbert Adams of Miamisburg, two sisters, Anna Lemmon of Troy and Alvena Thornton of Covington, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, and a sister. Mrs. Eversman attended Covington Schools and Greene Street United Methodist Church. She was a seamstress, having been known for her creation of lovely draperies. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cory Lemmon Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences to the family also may be expressed through www.jamiesonandyannucci.com.
