THOMAS, BETTY J. - Betty J. Thomas, 82, of West Milton, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009. Betty was born in Maysville on Jan. 29, 1927. She was retired from Miami Industrial Trucks and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 487 in West Milton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Thomas, two brothers, Thurman and Merlin Kline; sister, Doris Chute. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Jerry Badders, Kathleen and Donald Trummel, Marie and Duncan Carmack, Anna Lee and George Phillips; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Moore and Patricia Burdette; brothers, Richard and Danny Kline; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Services were held Dec. 19 with Pastor Rob Wackerman, officiating. Interment in Glen Haven Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.georgecmartinfuneralhome.com.
