STRAWSER, EVELYN MARIE (nee: PIERCE) - Evelyn Marie Strawser, 94, of Covington, formerly of Ludlow Falls, died March 18, 2009 at Covington Care Center. She was born March 26, 1914 in West Milton. She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Maggie (Klepinger) Pierce: husband, Herman Eugene Strawser; son-in-law, Bob Hill; brothers, Delbert, Emerson, Merlin and Vernon Pierce; and sister Naomi Shafer. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Nedette Strawser of Arcanum; daughters and son-in-law, Geraldine Hill of West Milton, Nancy and Tom Smith of West Milton; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and sister Lova Wion of West Milton. Funeral services were held March 20 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral home, West Milton, with Rev. Robert Kurtz officiating. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton.
