ABSHIRE, LUCIENNE T. - 87, of Troy, Wednesday. (Fisher-Cheney, Troy)
ABSHIRE, LUCIENNE (TREMBLAY) - Lucienne (Tremblay) Abshire, a volunteer at American Red Cross for more than 20 years, died Nov. 12 at her Troy home. She was 87. Mrs. Abshire was a 1935 graduate of Troy High School and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Survivors include sons, Joseph Abshire of Kenney, Ill., and Steve Abshire of Troy; daughters, Rosemary Jones of Lancaster, Calif., and Judith Dalton and Janet Hartline, both of Dayton; brothers, Armand Tremblay of Texas and Wilfred Tremblay of Troy; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Services were Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, with burial in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Miami County, P.O. Box 502, Troy, OH 45373, or the Parkinson Foundation Southwest Region, 325 N. Third St., Fairborn, OH 45324. Arrangements were by Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
