BOWMAN, RUTHERFORD I. - Funeral services were held this morning (Wednesday) for Rutherford I. Bowman, 78, 125 Niagara Avenue, Dayton, at the Marker & Heller Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert Ridenour, officiating. Mr. Bowman was the father of Harold D. Bowman of Vandalia and grandfather of Dale, Mark and Lee Bowman. He is also survived by his wife, Bessie, five sisters and two brothers. Mr. Bowman was a funeral assistant in the Dayton area for 20 years and retired in 1967. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua.
