SHERMAN, CLARENCE H. - Clarence H. Sherman, age 66, of 108 S. Church St., New Carlisle, passed away Sunday. He was a retired employee of Howard Sober Inc., of Springfield, A veteran of W. W. II, a member of IOOF lodge No. 505 of New Carlisle and Moose Lodge No. 536, Springfield. Survived by 2 brothers, Carl, Newport, R. I., Tilberry, St. Paris; sisters, Mrs. Susan Shaneyfelt, Reynoldsburg, Mrs. Helen Shanks, West Salem O., Mrs. Kathryn Iddings, Troy, Mrs. Edna Smith, New Carlisle. Services 1 p.m. Thursday from Trostel-Chapman Funeral Home, 507 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle. Burial New Carlisle cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-9 p.m. Wednesday.
