STILLWELL, MRS. ELIZABETH - Mrs. Elizabeth Stillwell was born in New Jersey in 1791, died at her late residence near Troy, Jan. 23, 1880, having reached the ripe age of 88 years and three months.  She removed with her parents and settled in Franklin, O., where she was married to Mr. Elias Stillwell in 1819.  Soon after they removed to Miami County and settled on the old Stillwell farm, where she remained until her death.  She with her husband united with the Baptist Church in Staunton fifty-seven years ago.  She was a constituent member of both the Troy and Union Baptist Churches.  Three daughters and two sons survive her.  The last of the old settlers of Staunton Township has now passed away.  She leaves behind her a pure record as a Christian, a mother and a neighbor.  Her funeral sermon was preached by her Pastor, Rev. P. M. Weddell, on Sabbath 25th, from 2 Cor. 5-1.      P. M. W.
