DEFREES, THOMAS L. P.
- At his residence, in Piqua, Wednesday night last, after an illness of several
weeks, Thomas L. P. Defrees, in the 68th year of his age. Mr. Defrees was
a cousin of the Senior editor of this paper. His father was one of the
early settlers of Piqua, having come there in 1813, when the son, who has just
deceased was but two years old. With the exception of a few short
intervals the deceased has resided in that city all
his life.
