SMILEY, MRS. MARTHA J.
- Mrs. Martha J. Smiley, wife of Dr. H. H. Smiley, of this city, died in Des
Moines, Iowa, where she was visiting her daughter, on Monday. The remains
were brought here for interment on Thursday. The news of the death of this
estimable lady was a great shock to our community, and the suddenly bereaved
family have the sympathy of all.
