COTTINGHAM, JAMES A. -
In Troy, Wednesday morning, March 5th, after a long illness, James A., only
son of Mr. Wm. A. and Mrs. Henrietta Cottingham, in the 25th year of his
age. Jimmie was a good boy, and his death, although not unlooked for by his
loving parents and friends, creates a void and heartache that only time
alone can fill up and heal. He has been a sufferer for some eight years,
from a complication of diseases of the lungs and liver, and all that loving
friends could do to prolong life and retard the steady march of the fell
destroyer had been done. His end came peacefully, and as he had been long
resigned to the inevitable, he passed without a murmur from this life to
eternity. His funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the M. E. Church;
interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
