TULLIS, AUGUSTUS S.- At his residence in Attica, Ind., Jan. 23, 1878, at 3 o'clock, a.m., of chronic inflammation of the stomach, Augustus S., son of William and Sarah Tullis, deceased, aged 44 years and 10 months.  He was born, and raised near Troy, Ohio and soon after the close of the war he sought a house in Attica, Ind., since that time has lived a respected citizen.  He leaves a wife and three children to mourn the loss of a kind husband and loving father.  To the bereaved family many friends extend their heartfelt sympathy, trusting all may profit by the sweet spirit of resignation with which the Brother laid down the burden of life, and calmly resting on the merits of his Savior, fell asleep in Jesus.
