week, and was buried on Sabbath afternoon.

This lovely bud so young and fair,
Called hence from early doom,
Just came to show how sweet a flower,
In paradise may bloom.
He was borne in arms of mercy
Unto his heavenly home above,
And there an angel band stood waiting
To crown him with glorified love.
