KESSLER, MR. HENRY - Mr. Henry Kessler, of Union Township died at his residence on Saturday last of dropsy, a disease from which he had been suffering for seven months, and which confined him to his bed for six weeks prior to his death.  His funeral, which was very largely attended, took place on Monday morning the 14th inst., interment at the Nashville Cemetery. Mr. Kessler was in the 65th year of his age at the time of his demise.  He was well and favorably known throughout the lower part of the county--being a man of sterling qualities, honest and upright in all business dealings, true and faithful in the discharge of his duties as a citizen, a friend and a father.  His funeral ceremonies were conducted by Rev. Wm. Jay, who in his own admirable and heart-spoken manner paid many just tributes to the memory of the deceased.
