PECK, JOHN A. - Mr. John A. Peck, a former well known and highly respected resident of this vicinity died at his home near Topeka, Kansas, on the 19th inst.  Although Mr. Peck's failing health was known to his friends and relatives here the termination of his life was sudden, and a brother--Isaac Peck, Jr.--who left for his bedside arrived just in time for the last funeral rites.  Mr. Peck removed from Ohio about eleven years ago, and was in his 49th year at the time of his death.
