Miami Union (In Piqua Items)

SCUDDER, CUMMINS - Mr. Cummins Scudder, the veteran brick mason and builder, died on Saturday morning at an advanced age. He had been a resident of Piqua for fifty years. Another part of the paper reads as follows: Cummins Scudder, aged about 76 years, and upwards of 50 years a citizen of Piqua, died at his residence in that city Saturday morning last. Mr. Scudder was an upright honorable man; and industrious and thrifty mechanic, and a good citizen in every respect, and highly esteemed by all who knew him.
