STAHL, KATE - Near Troy, O., July 19, 1876, of consumption, Miss Kate Stahl, aged about 17 years. Her sickness was of nearly a year's duration and attended with constant and greatest suffering. All was uncomplainingly borne and the dark cloud of death received a silver lining from the Savior's face. Resignation to her fate and assured acceptance with Christ preceded her translation from the mount of Transfiguration to the City of Life. Three sisters in this family have passed the River within three years, leaving but one sister to share the mother's grief and the brother's sorrow. May the family be one again in the deathless land.
