much given to letters, was a man of intelligence, and of excellent business
qualifications.

SCHMIDLAPP, JACOB A. - Jacob A. Schmidlapp, one of our pioneer German citizens, was buried on Tuesday. He had resided in Piqua for 44 years. Mr. Schmidlapp is the third director of the Piqua National Bank who has died within the last year.
