SAYERS, CHARLES H. - Death of C. H. Sayers - Charles H. Sayers of Piqua, late of Troy, died suddenly at the village of Brooklyn, Michigan, of hemorrhage of the lungs, on Saturday last.  Mr. Sayers was engaged in selling fruit trees in Michigan for Messrs. S. & J. B. Weller of the State.  He had been at home on a visit and left on his return to Michigan but the day before in apparent good health and spirits.  He reached his destination the same night, and next day, with a horse and buggy belonging to Mr. J. B. Weller, started out on a business trip.  When near the village of Brooklyn he was attacked with bleeding of the lungs.  He stopped at a private house, hitched his horse and knocked at the door of the house for admittance.  A member of the family opened the door, and Mr. S. stepped in but was unable to speak in consequence of the rapid flow of blood.  The lady of the house was called, but just as she reached him he sank down and expired.  An inquest was held, the jury returning a verdict in accordance with these facts.  The Messrs. Weller were notified, and immediately went to Brooklyn and took charge of the body, which was conveyed to the railroad, and put in charge of Mr. J. T. Thompson, who had gone out for that purpose, by whom it was brought here for burial.  The family of Mr. Sayers desire to return their heartfelt thanks to the family of Mr. D. C. Hart, where he died, and also to Messrs. Weller, for the many kindnesses shown, and the good offices performed by them, in connections with this sad affair.  Everything was done by these parties that could be done under the circumstances.
