CHARLES ESSER - Covington Lodge, No. 385 took special order, on the late occasion of the death of their late brother, Charles Esser, whose sudden death in Bradford, we noticed last week. J. R. Shuman, from the committee has handed us the following:
Whereas, our order in Covington, have heard with profound sorrow, the said intelligence of the sudden call from earthly work, of Brother Charles Esser: therefore
Resolved, That the order, his family and friends and community generally, have experienced, by the mournful event, the loss of a faithful member, a kind husband an earnest friend and a good citizen.
Resolved, That we will attend to his funeral in body, and administer to his remains the rites of our Order.
Resolved, That copies of this preamble and these resolutions be sent to the family of the deceased.
