KESTER, (NO FIRST NAME) - Woman Killed by the Cars - A woman by the name of Kester, who lived in Cowlesville, was killed by being knocked off the railroad track by a freight train, on Friday evening. It seems Mrs. Kester was returning home from this place and walked past the train which was headed South. After she had stepped on the track the train backed up, and as she was a little deaf, she did not hear it in time to avoid it. Her injuries were so severe that she died in a short time. We are informed that she leaves eight children in destitute circumstances.
