BABB. (WM.) WILLIAM - In Casstown, September 20th, 1868, Mr. Wm. Babb, after a short illness. Mr. Babb was born in Northhampton County, Pennsylvania. His parents moved to Hardy County, Virginia, and from thence to Ohio in 1835 and settled in this part of Miami County. He joined the M. E. Church in 1836, and remained a member of the same up to the time of his death. He was a man of strong mind and a deep thinker upon all subjects. He was a firm believer in the fullness of salvation purchased by Christ, and the doctrine of immortality of the soul, and the resurrection of the body were pleasing thoughts to him. His Christian life is well known. Wherein he has failed "forgive and forget"--let us imitate his virtues, and remember that he laid the hands of a just God, who doeth all things well. B. M.
