Oakes-Beitman Historical Museum in downtown Pleasant Hill.
You are invited to stop by and browse around.
They are open every Monday through August from 3:00-7:00 P.M. beginning
this Monday, July 23, and most Monday evenings after that.
They have renovated and expanded their displays and information and you might learn some interesting
information about the Pleasant Hill area. They have had some pretty famous people!
The museum is housed in the library, which is located on St. Rt. 48, just north of the famous statue, and on the west side of the street.
The museum is upstairs and is not handicap accessible, something they hope to be able to address in the future. Parking is available.
