Funeral services were held at 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon for Seth Pearson in the home of his niece, Mrs. Della Harshbarger who resides on the Plesant Hill pike, near Concord centralized school building. Rev. O. P. Furnas of West Milton officiated and burial was made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Mr. Pearson died Friday evening from complication due to the infirmities of old age. He was confined to his bed only the last here weeks. Mr. Pearson was a Civil war veteran 81 years old. He was born near Pleasant Hill and spent the last 35 years of his life in and near that village. He resided in the west many years.

The death of Mr. Pearson marks the passing of a family of 10 children. He is survived by one son, Joseph Pearson, of Saint Thomas, Neb. His wife, one son and one daughter preceded him in death.

M. Thomas had been cared for the last six weeks in the home of Mrs. Harshbarger where his death occurred.
