The residents of Covington were pained to lean this morning of the death of
their well known townsman, Dr . John Harrison, which occurred Friday night as the
result of a hemorrhage of the lungs.
Dr. Harrison, who was born near Dayton, was seventy six years old and for more
than fifty years had been practicing medicine in Covington having accorded a
large practice. He also practiced a
short time in Tippecanoe City.
He left a widow and three children, Mrs. Ben Rhodehamel of Peoria, Illinois, Mr.
C.E. Yager of this city and L. Scott Harrison of Peoria.
The funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon, at three o’clock at the late residence in Covington.
