Cooper, John
Miami Union1889
Company F 71st OVI
The death last week of John Cooper makes another gap in the ranks of the old veterans of the Rebellion. Mr. Cooper was a brave soldier and fell with his face to the foe, shot through the breast. From the wound he never recovered but for years by the exercise of a wonderful determination, kept death at bay. He will be sadly missed and mourned by his many friends.
Buried at Riverside Cemetery. Left wife Susan.
