Jacob Bowerman died from the effects of a paralytic stroke at 9:45, Tuesday morning, being fifty-eight years of age at the time of his demise.  The funeral services will be held this afternoon, at 3 o’clock from the home on Walnut street and the interment will be at Riverside.

Mr. Bowman was an old resident of Troy, and a veteran of the late war, his services during the war of the rebellion being responsible for the total loss of eyesight which occurred five years ago.  A widow, five children, two sons and three daughters survive him.
