Brandon, Isaac Vincent West Milton Record 3/14/1917 Company B 71^{st OVI}

Re. O. P. Furnas was at Pleasant Hill Tuesday, to conduct the funeral of Isaac Vincent Brandon, who died at Greenville, at the age of 68 years. He was of a family that sent ten to the Civil War and today there is but one surviving, Richard W. Brandon of Pleasant Hill. The deceased parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah P. Brandon were pioneers of western Miami count and descendants of early Puritan stock. Mr. Brandon was married in 1872 to Ellen Jenks. Five children ere born to them. The mother died in 1891.
