Enos, Charles Miami Union1904 Company E 71st OVI

The funeral of Charles Enos, commonly called “Pood,” was held at the M.E. church Sunday morning. He died at the county house. Owing to Mr. Enos not having an honorable discharge he could not get a pension which he rightly deserved according to member so his company. It was through tricks played on Mr. Enos that caused him to desert. Special effort was made at different times to have congress grant M. Enos a pension, but to no avail.
