Samuel Winans Samuel Winans Samuel was born in Elizabethtown, Essex County, New Jersey. He served there as a private in Captian Squire's Company, 2nd Regiment, Essex County N.J. He came to Staunton Township, Miami County Ohio in 1809. He gave a toast at the reunion of Revolutionary War Veterand in Troy Ohio on 4 July 1827. Samuel died in 1830 and is buried in the Raper Chapel Cemetery. Return to the |
