John Mast John Mast John was born during 1760 in Randolph County North Carolina, a son of John and Barbara (Harmon) Mast. John came to Miami County Ohio from North Carolina in 1803 and built one of the first mills in the county. He died in 1832 and is buried in the West Branch Quaker Cemetery in Union Township, Miami County. He was in the Siege of Charleston South Carrlona, and is listed as a private from North Carolina. He was married to Susannah Hoover, a daughter of Andrew and Margaret (Fouts) Hoover. She was born in 1763 at Mirey Springs Maryland, and died in 1813. Return to the |
