Patrick Heagen Patrick Heagen Patrick was born in York County Pennsylvania during 1749. He came to Miami County Ohio in 1826 and was granted a pension in Miami County in 1833, for his service in the Pennsylvania Service. He later moved to Montgomery County Ohio and is buried in the Minnick Cemetery, Randolph Township. Heagan entered the service as a private at York Pennsylvania in the spring of 1775 as a volenteer to go to Canada for one year. He was in the company of Captain Church, under Lieut Reed and was mustered at Chester to march and join the Regiment of Colonel Harkley at York. He fought at Paoli, Stony Point, Brandywine, and Saratoga. His later enlistmant in Reed's company in the army of General Anthony Wayne brought his total militart service to around 5 years.
