He is burried in the cemetery at Pleasant Hill, Newton Township. He was married twice. His first wife (Sarah Miner) died and was likely buried in Pennsylvania. His second wife (Ann Hetzel) died in 1843 and is buried beside Andrew He enlisted in Washington County Pennsylvania and served as Captian in the 6th Company, 4th Battalion of the Pennsylvania State Troops.
