SCHAEFER-DAVIS - Pierce Pike--Miss Elizabeth F. Schaefer of near Troy and Roy E. Davis of near West Milton were married at the home of Rev. O. P. Furnas, Thursday evening, May 23, Rev. Furnas officiating. Miss Irene Davis, cousin of the groom and Orville Garwood were the only attendants. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Anson Davis and is an industrious young farmer. The bride is a charming young lady and is the daughter of Mrs. Fannie Schaefer. They will reside with the groom's parents. Both young people are well known and have the best wishes of every one.
