JACKSON, JOHN W. - Quite a novel wedding transpired here on the 20th of last month. Miss Mary Stillwell, who has been teaching the primary class of our school for the past two years, and a Mr. Jackson, also of this place, concluded that they have arrived unto that state wherein the poet describes as
Two minds with but a single thought,

hearts that beat as one."
and, as such, should be united in the "holy bonds of
matrimony." On the morning of the 20th Miss Stillwell announced to
the children that there would be some distinguished visitors at the school room
on that afternoon, and requested them, in behalf of their teacher to extend an
invitation to their parents, to be also present, as they intended having a
reunion and some little speaking. The day was a delightful one and the
room was comfortably filled. Recitations and speaking commenced a little
after one and continued until three, when the door was thrown open and the
Rev. Mr. Bradly, accompanied by Mr. Jackson, entered the room. Everybody
was now on the "tip-toe of expectation," nor were they compelled long
to remain in suspense. Mr. Bradly in a few words explained to them the
