DAVIS, HENRY - Those present at the wedding of Henry Davis and Mary McClung, at the residence of the bride's father, on the 1st inst., found it a most interesting and delightful occasion.  The feast itself was a sumptuous one, but the interest centered in that young pair, reared from childhood among us, possessing unblemished characters, members of the same church and models in everything for our youth.  Tears and smiles freely mingled on that festive occasion.  All who were present seemed to feel that they were giving up a beloved one from their own family.  Could Troy, instead of Kokomo, be the future home of this young bride and bridegroom, then would it have been all smiles.  But they are well mated; we would not have it otherwise.  May God bless them.  October 5, 1872 (MU)

McCLUNG, MARY - Those present at the wedding of Henry Davis and Mary McClung, at the residence of the bride's father, on the 1st inst., found it a most interesting and delightful occasion.
