Dear Mary C. could a wish insure
A happy life to thee,
Then thine would be a summer sky,
From tempests over free.

But sad dark hours would come to all--
The married and the best
May loving friends be ever near
On whom thy heart can rest.     M

YOUNG, JAMES H. - Married, on the evening of the 23d inst., at the residence of the bride's father in Troy, by the Rev. Mr. Hall, of Trinity Church, Mr. James H. Young to Miss Mary F. Culbertson, both of Troy. This was an elegant wedding.--The lovely bride was dressed in white Cleillan rep, empress train, trimmed with white satin in folds and with satin sash. Over all was a rich illusion veil, and from beneath the rich drapery peeped the little white satin slippers (No. 1 in size.) Her hair was richly dressed and trimmed with a wreath of orange blossoms. The ceremony was in accordance with the solemn and imposing forms of the Episcopal Church. Guests were present from Cincinnati, Springfield, Piqua and other towns, besides a large number from our own place. The supper table was worthy of the occasion, and the Firemen's Silver Band graced the occasion with superb music. A number of rich and valuable presents were made to the fair young bride, of whom may be truly said,

None see her, but to love,
None know her, but to praise.
May unalloyed happiness attend the newly made One, all through the pathway of life.
