Hi. I was working on scanning old photos and thought this one would be good to share.
Also, maybe those who visit the website could help me with individual IDs.
I have the names, but my grandma did not put them in order when she wrote them on the back of the photo.
I know the two black boys are the Elams.
The stern looking fellow with the mustache and watch is my g.g. uncle Alexander Henry McCurdy, who was the school master.
The three girls to the left of Alexander are the Young girls, with the last of the three (closest to the left of the photo)
being Martha Young. I have other photos of Martha. She was a relation to the McCurdys, so I know her.
After Emma Young's name in the list below are Alva, John, Martha and Mary. They were her siblings, so that may be a clue to how the other names are listed.
The names of the individuals are stated in this way:
Joe D. McCurdy Lizzie Joe Pearl (Harvey) Chas A.H. McCurdy (teacher) Sam Clark Honeyman John Kale Edward Chas Emma Young Maggie Fleming Alva Alta Mill Martha Tim Lyman Mary Lizzie Biard John Homer Weikert Mary Thomas Robert Wall Ellis Robert Elam Gertha George Elam Hulda Chas Westfall Bell
