St. Paul's Lutheran Church Graveyard
(first known as the German & English Lutheran Evangelical Church)

This small cemetery is located in the northwest quarter of Section 31, in Newberry Township, Miami County, Ohio. It is on the south side of the Miami-Shelby County Line Road, between State Route 48 and the Rangeline Road. The Church, which was burned in 1938, was built by German Immigrants about 1875. After this church was destroyed by fire, most of the members transferred to the St. John's Lutheran Church in Covington. According to the readings taken from gravestones, the first burial was in 1876 and the last in 1937. The cemetery is fenced and well cared for. (Miami County Deed Book #55, page 441, from William Schnepp to the Trustee's of the German & English Lutheran Church, dated 23 Jun 1875).
